Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu is an Indian model and beauty pageant winner best known for being Miss Diva Universe 2021. She successfully represented India on one of the most prestigious stages of the Miss Universe Pageant and was elected Miss Universe 2021. Harnaaz Sandhu was born on March 3, 2000, in Chandigarh, India, and is a Sikh. She grew up in Chandigarh with her brother Harnoor Sandhu and her parents Ps Sandhu and Ravinder Sandhu. She has always been interested in modeling and began her profession at the age of 17. Harnaaz graduated from Shivalik Public School in Chandigarh and afterward attended Post Graduate Government Undergraduate for Girls for her college studies. She is now pursuing a Master of Public Administration degree.

Harnaaz Sandhu began her career by competing in numerous pageants during her adolescence, and she won her first title when she has crowned Miss Chandigarh in 2017. Later that year, she was also named Miss Max Emerging Star India. Harnaaz Sandhu rose to greater heights when she won the Femina Miss India Punjab title in 2019 and went on to represent her state at the Femina Miss India National beauty pageant. She finished in the top 12 but was unable to win. She later competed in Miss Diva 2021 and finished in the top 20.

During the competition, she earned the Miss Beautiful Skin award and quickly advanced to the top 10, where she was named Miss Diva 2021 and allowed to represent India Ahead at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in 2021, one of the highest honors for a model and pageant bearer. She went on to compete in the pageant in Israel, where she quickly rose to the top of the competition, eventually being elected Miss Universe 2021. She is the third woman from India to win the title, and her victory comes 21 years after the previous winner, Lara Dutta.
