GOT7s Jay B

GOT7’s Jay B is rumored to have left H1GHR music after his contract with the label expired. Instagram was used on July 25 to announce the departure of two H1GHR Music performers, Jay B and Sik-K.

The post states that both musicians are leaving because their contracts have expired. In a tweet on the same day, Jay B was welcomed by the new music label CDNZA Records. Jay B is also the first star to sign a contract with the organization.

Jay B’s resignation was announced immediately after H1GHR issued a project teaser titled ‘Be Right Back.’ This song was produced by Jay B, BIG NAUGHTY, Cha Cha Malone, GrooveRoom, HAON, Jay Park, pH-1, TRADE L, and Park Hyun Jin. The identical was made accessible on July 27 at 6 p.m. KST.

Fans were stunned by the leader of GOT7’s choice to leave the agency he had just joined a year prior. The year 2021 was a turning point for GOT7, as members not only left JYP Entertainment but also remained a part of the group.

Additionally, leader Jay B was able to acquire the group’s trademark from JYP. The leader of GOT7 and Yugyeom both signed with Jay Park’s agencies, H1GHR music, and AOMG entertainment.

Fans anticipate a major restructuring of the music industry when Jay B and Sik-K leave H1GHR music.

GOT7’s leader and Sik-K parted relations with H1GHR music on July 25. While GOT7’s leader has since collaborated with CDNZA records, Sik-K has yet to reveal his intentions.

Fans are concerned about recent changes at the agency, which was recently acquired by the South Korean entertainment and mass media conglomerate CJENM. Additionally, Jay Park said earlier this year that he will be resigning as CEO of H1GHR music and AOMG.

The rapper continues to act as their psychotherapist. Jay Park and Cha Cha Malone launched H1GHR music in 2017 in order to create a label with a global focus in addition to the Korean-centric AOMG.

The company employed artists such as Yultron, Sik-K, pH-1, and Avatar Darko in addition to its founders.

Therefore, it was unexpected when one of the label’s original artists, Sik-K, announced his departure shortly after Jay Park resigned as CEO. Sik-K joined the agency in 2017 after appearing on Show Me The Money 4, a rap competition series.

Fans have also expressed concern about the rapper pH-1, who may also be leaving the label. Suspicion arose after pH-1 deleted all of his Instagram posts and asserted on his account that he had fabricated certain stories.

“I know it’s time to leave when people begin to take me for granted.”

Additionally, he wrote in a second story,

“There are numerous reasons why my album won’t be released. At least not at this time. You will not be disappointed if you continue to follow me. Many thanks to my admirers.”

Concurrently, the performer reassured fans and requested that no rumors be circulated. He made an identical joke with Jay Park. When his contract with JYP Entertainment terminated, Jay B joined H1GHR.

He made his solo debut with the seductive R&B song Switch it Up, which featured South Korean rapper Sokodomo. Then, he published his debut EP, titled SOLO: FUME.

Under Warner Music Korea, the artist’s first physical EP, Love, was published. In June 2022, he also held NOSTALGIC, his first-ever fan meeting.
