In the 1990s, Boy George, the lead singer of the musical band Culture Club, suffered from crippling anxiety. The musician explained to the Loose Women panelists, including Coleen Nolan, his conflict with the media.

“When you’re in the public eye, you go along and then… you realize you’re not in as much control of your life as you believe,” he explained.

Boy George explained, “In the 1990s, I experienced these terrible panic attacks.”

Boy George refused to attribute his anxiety to a single cause, stating, “It could be food, too much coffee, or stress.”
