Untimely Demise

Flip was found dead in his home in Yukon, Oklahoma in May 2013, at the age of 31 – initial media reports did not confirm any details, but it was later revealed that he died by gunshot, and despite some questioning the conclusion of suicide, the case was quickly closed, and his body was cremated and his ashes were laid to rest at the Hinton Cemetery in Oklahoma. There was no cause given for him to commit suicide.

Following Flip’s death, his car was automatically transferred to Big Chief, who later handed it to Flip’s childhood friend KamiKaze, who adopted it in remembrance of his late friend and later renamed the car Elco after refusing to touch it for more than a year. When he initially drove it, it caught fire due to stuck brake calipers, but it was later restored. He eventually won the car and planned to improve it even further. He continues to drive and race the car on tracks and on television, as he stated would have been what his friend desired.
