Tyler Posey, Crystal Reed, Holland Roden, Shelley Hennig, and Colton Haynes are among the returning cast members.

Dylan O’Brien’s departure from Teen Wolf sparked a great deal of internet buzz

Teen Wolf is an international cultural phenomenon with a devoted fan base. When Conan O’Brien left his talk show, fans were upset, and many of them aired their anger and disappointment on Twitter.

Through ever-popular Euphoria memes, fans vented their fury. Additionally, stills from Taylor Swift’s All Too Well: The Short Film was incorporated. O’Brien plays the lead role in Swift’s film, which stars him as the protagonist.

Fans recognize that O’Brien’s departure is understandable, as he may not want Teen Wolf to define his career. It was understandable that they had to say farewell to this beloved cast member.

Since the entire original cast would not be returning, several heartbroken fans petitioned for the film’s cancellation.

What Dylan O’Brien has been up to recently

Due to an injury sustained on the set of The Maze Runner: The Death Cure, the actor has been out of the spotlight since Teen Wolf. O’Brien was injured in March 2016 while filming the opening sequence of The Maze Runner due to a malfunctioning harness during a stunt scene.

In September 2017, he informed The Salt Lake Tribune that the incident “damaged the majority of the right side of my face.” He is now discussing how the incident altered his life.

He declared:

“I felt as though I had neglected my closest friends for years, despite the fact that they were so essential to me. It seemed really important to me, all of a sudden, to maintain and strengthen these connections. In my perspective, it essentially rewires and restructures how you perceive your life and what is most important to you.”

After recovering from his accident, O’Brien starred in the 2017 film American Assassin before finishing 2018’s The Maze Runner: The Death Cure. Since then, he has maintained a quiet profile.

In May 2020, he made a startling return to social media by responding to one of Halsey’s flashback tweets. He has played the lead in films including Love and Monsters and Flashback.

In addition, he was featured in the second episode of the eleventh season of Curb Your Enthusiasm on HBO.

Dylan O’Brien also appeared alongside Taylor Swift and Sadie Sink in November 2021’s All Too Well: The Short Film. The March 2022 release of the upcoming film The Outfit will include Dylan O’Brien alongside other prominent actors.
