Death and Obituary for Duncan Pugh

Pugh was hospitalized on January 24 and died a day later, on January 25, 2023, from a catastrophic brain bleed.

Pugh was a married man with two sons. “We are heartbroken and simply at a loss for words,” his wife McKenzie wrote on Facebook. “Gone far too soon.” You were our family’s rock, and you wore your heart on your sleeve.”

“You were proud of our two boys, the best father anyone could have hoped for,” she added. Your drive and determination will live on in our boys forever.”

His wife’s post was heartbreaking; she asked for his family’s privacy after sharing her thoughts and confirming his death.

His close friends also expressed their feelings about him, stating that he was a family man who was friendly to everyone.

Pugh will be remembered fondly by his fans, the community, and his family.

Olympian Star Passed Away Aneurysm in the Brain

Pugh died on January 25, but his family did not announce his death for nearly a week. Doctors confirmed that he died as a result of a brain aneurysm.

According to The West Australian, he lived with his wife and two young sons, Charlie and George, after suffering from a brain bleed in his Perth home.

“Our small bobsleigh family has taken a big hit this week with the passing of Pughie, Duncan Pugh, Vancouver 2010 Olympian, was and will always be remembered as a legend,” Bobsleigh and Skeleton Australia said on Facebook.

He is a wonderful father to his boys, as well as a beloved husband, son, brother, and uncle to his family.

It will be difficult for those young boys to accept the fact that their Father is no longer present. Everyone in his family is suffering as a result of his untimely death, but his sons and wife will suffer the most.

As a teacher, he was adored and respected, and he was adored by all of his friends and family; they frequently mentioned how close he was to everyone in the community.

People were shocked to learn of Pugh’s untimely death, but he is no longer with us. Before his death, Pugh was surrounded by family and friends.
