Dan Scott, a successful businessman, and former high school basketball star, and Deb Scott, a stay-at-home mom, are the proud parents of Nathan Scott. Dan’s high school girlfriend, Karen Roe, is the mother of Nathan, the older half-brother of the show’s protagonist, Lucas Scott.

When Nathan is given the chance to play professional basketball in Europe, it will be the final test of his and Haley’s marriage. The pair decides to uproot their lives and leave behind their loved ones in Tree Hill.
