Christina Morris’ friend Steven Nickerson told Dateline’s Josh Mankiewicz how the latter decided to drive home at around 3:30 a.m. on August 30, 2014.

Morris and a group of friends drank in Plano, Texas, according to Nickerson. She decided to drive because she wasn’t too inebriated.

However, the video showed the 23-year-old entering the parking garage of the affluent suburban shopping center with her friend, Enrique Arochi.

Morris had recently moved to Fort Worth and was returning for Labor Day weekend.

Morris and Arochi were captured on CCTV after a night out at 3:55 a.m.
