Covid testing Is Positive For Kym Marsh On Strictly Come Dancing

Kym Marsh

As a result of her adverse drug test for Covid-19, Kym Marsh will not be able to participate in this weekend’s Strictly Come Dancing.

The BBC has stated that she and her partner Graziano di Prima will continue to compete in the competition and that they are anticipated to return the following week.

The song “I Feel For You” by Chaka Khan was going to be the couple’s pick for their couples’ choice dance performance.

Marsh is a former star of Coronation Street and a current member of the pop group Hear’Say. She also co-presents the show Morning Live on BBC One.

A spokeswoman for Strictly Come Dancing revealed the following in a statement: “Kym Marsh has been found to be infected with the Covid-19 virus.

“As a direct consequence of this, Kym and Graziano will not be competing in this weekend’s edition of Strictly Come Dancing.

“According to the procedures of Strictly Come Dancing, if all goes well, they will perform again the following week.”

Over the course of this series, Marsh’s scores have fluctuated. Since the beginning of the series in September, she and di Prima have had three separate finishes that placed them in the top three of the judges’ scoreboard.

However, she has also found herself at the bottom of the leaderboard on occasion, and she competed against Matt Goss in the week four battle of the bottom two dancers.

On Saturday in Blackpool, the couple finished in second-to-last place on the leaderboard, but they did not finish in the bottom two spots.

In comparison to past recent series, this season of Strictly Come Dancing has been marked by a comparatively low level of controversy.

Despite this, it continues to have enduring popularity among viewers. The special episode that was broadcast from Blackpool on Saturday was seen by an average audience of 8.7 million individuals.

In addition to Marsh, the following individuals are still in the running for the prize: Fleur East, Helen Skelton, Hamza Yassin, Will Mellor, Molly Rainford, and Ellie Taylor.

Tony Adams, a former football player, suffered an injury last week and decided to withdraw from the competition as a result.
