The trailer promises treachery, near-misses, political intrigue, and death-defying escapes as part of a mission to fight darkness with only hope.

The idea of Last Light is certain to have viewers wondering who is responsible for the oil crisis and why they have chosen to wreak devastation on the globe.

This suspenseful film is certain to keep audiences on the edge of their seats as they await Andy’s discovery of the disaster’s perpetrator while he searches for his family.

The viewer may anticipate breathtaking photography of the vast desert of the Middle East. The television program was shot in Prague, Paris, and Abu Dhabi. There will be five episodes, with each lasting 45 minutes.

Director Dennie Gordon stated in a statement:

“I am thrilled to be able to present my work to you all. This project has been a career highlight for me; the chance to create an important story with an international ensemble of actors and artists, MGM International Television Productions, and Peacock, a studio and streaming service that has offered me enormous creative freedom.”

He then continued:

“I was greatly influenced by Alfonso Cuarón’s excellent film Children of Men, which depicts a future scenario we may foresee, and we wish to leave our audience with a ray of optimism at the end; what is possible if we all work together to create change? I believe that you will relate to Andy Yeats and his family, and we hope that this series will generate discussions about our reliance on oil and how to deal with climate change.”

Last Light will be released on Peacock on September 8th, Thursday.
