It was a football team with its headquarters in the Croatian province of Zagreb’s Velika Gorica. He made his professional football debut in 2011 with the Croatian team NK Inter Zapresic. Until 2013, when he agreed to a contract with Lokomotiva Zagreb, he was a member of the team.

Before being transferred to the German professional football club FC St. Pauli in 2014, he spent a year with the team. His first club outside of his home nation was there. He was loaned to Crotone in Italy after spending a year with FC St. Pauli in Germany.
