Relationship Status

Amy and Paul met at Texas State University, where they were both students. She’s also a member of the golf team at her university. However, there isn’t a lot of information regarding their love story available. Years ago, her husband revealed that she was far superior to him.

Paul Goldschmidt, sometimes known as “Goldy,” is an American professional baseball first baseman who plays for the St. Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his Major League Baseball debut in 2011 with the Arizona Diamondbacks. Prior to going pro, he played baseball for The Woodlands High School and the Texas State Bobcats.

After playing at Texas State, he was drafted in the eighth round of the 2009 MLB draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks. He rose to prominence in the minor levels before being promoted to the top leagues on August 1, 2011. The Diamondbacks traded him to the Cardinals during the 2018-2019 offseason. Goldschmidt was also a six-time All-Star in the Major League Baseball. He topped the National League in home runs and runs batted in during the 2013 season. He’s also earned the Hank Aaron Award, Gold Glove Award, and Silver Slugger Award in the National League (NL). He has twice finished second in the NL Major League Baseball Most Valuable Player Award, in 2013 and 2015.
