Several Wildcat stars have lost contact. Vanessa Hudgens claimed on Thursday, March 23, on Access Hollywood that she and her ex-boyfriend Zac Efron no longer communicate.
“Oh, sure, no… That never occurs; I’ve entirely lost contact with him.”
Natalie Morales, co-host, replied:
“Oh, that’s unfortunate.”

In 2006, Hudgens and Efron portrayed Gabriella Montez and Troy Bolton, respectively, in the Disney Channel original film High School Musical. Both performers reprised their roles in High School Musical 2 and High School Musical 3: Senior Year, two sequels.
Vanessa stated when questioned about her probable participation in High School Musical 4,
“I could be a teacher at age 28, but I choose not to! I am still a child at heart. So definitely not with me, but I cannot wait to see what they concoct. Simply enjoy yourself. We were like children going about and having fun.”
Vanessa’s and Zac’s relationship
After meeting on the set of the Disney television musical High School Musical, Hudgens and the Baywatch actor dated from 2005 until 2010.
Hudgens revealed in a March 2015 interview with The New York Times that she did not care for Efron’s female followers at the time.
“I went through a period where I was quite cruel because I was so exhausted. Girls were after him, and while I was shooting them death glares, I realized that wasn’t the case. Spread the love, be a decent person, they’re rooting for you, and be kind.”
The actress revealed that she maintained strong ties with Ashley Tisdale, whose 2014 wedding she attended as a bridesmaid.
“I actually just contacted Ashley yesterday. On her website, YouTube, she has a new video in which her niece does her cosmetics. It was very adorable.”
Gathering of HSM
A portion of the High School Musical ensemble reunited for a television special celebrating the franchise’s 10-year anniversary last year.
Fans were delighted to see Hudgens and Tisdale reunited with previous co-stars Corbin Bleu, Lucas Grabeel, and Monique Coleman, but many were upset that Efron did not attend the reunion in person.
“I have nothing but love for the #HighSchoolMusical cast and fans. I wish I could have been there to enjoy the festivities in person.”
Vanessa has bravely resolved to deliver honest responses to any questions made rather than evading the unpleasant situation. Moreover, Vanessa has been deeply in love with her current partner, Austin Butler, 25, since 2011, so she has no reason to be dissatisfied.
Efron has been romantically linked to Michelle Rodriguez and Lily Collins, and in April 2016 he ended his two-year relationship with model Sami Miro.
