How did Allgaier start his Professional Career?

Mike Allgaier raced in extra ARCA events in 2003, making six starts in his father’s No. 86. He finished sixth in his second start at Toledo Speedway, then third in his subsequent race at Salem Speedway.

He only made five starts, but he finished second the following year in Toledo. In addition, he participated for the United States in the South Pacific Saloon Car Championship, finishing in the top five twice.

In 2005, Allgaier raced in seven ARCA events, rotating between Hixson Motorsports and Bobby Gerhart Racing vehicles. He not only set a track record at Springfield, but he also got his first career pole and four top-five finishes.

Allgaier completed his first full-time run in ARCA in 2006 and finished 10th, becoming the first inhabitant of the Springfield region to win in the fairgrounds’ 72-year history.
