Grant made his professional debut in May 2011 against Jason Ward, which he won by first-round KO. Dwight was defeated by a unanimous decision in his second fight at PA Cage Fight 8 in June 2011. Between 2012 and 2016, Grant competed in five professional games and won all of them.

In his first Bellator fight, he defeated Danasabe Mohammed by a majority decision in November 2016.
