It was around one and a half o’clock in Canada when Alek drove his vehicle into the pedestrian strip of Yonge Street and Finch Avenue, killing 10 people and injuring 15 more.
Alek attempted to flee the scene of the accident, but was apprehended by authorities and is now in police custody. Alek was previously involved in a Facebook debate with Elliot Rodger in 2014. Elliot was the man accused of a shooting rampage near Santa Barbara, California, in 2014.
