Albert Belle Biography and Early Life

Albert Joujob Belle was born to her parents, Albert Belle Sr and Carrie Belle with his twin brother, Terry Belle, on August 25, 1966. Since they were both young children, all they wanted to do was play baseball and soccer.

As stated earlier, their father, Albert Sr., was a high school coach in sports. Albert Jr. subsequently grew steadily as one of the elite prospects in high school. In fact, Belle made the baseball team twice with Huntington High School during his tenure.

With the LSU Tigers, Belle was one of the brightest young prospects in the US.
Later, since Albert was one of the best high school athletes, he earned a full scholarship from Louisiana State University. Therefore Belle entered the university without hesitation when he was born in the State of Louisiana.

Subsequently, from 1985 to 1987, the Louisiana-born remained with the LSU Tigers during which he joined the First Team in 1986 and 1987. Therefore, at the time Albert graduated from college, most of the MLB teams wanted a slugger-born operation.

In 1989, Albert started his professional career with the 1987 Cleveland Indians team. Afterward, Belle stuck with the franchise for another 8 years and from a rookie, perspective became a four-time All-Star.

In particular, the native of Louisianna earned three times in RBI, twice in slugging, and three times in extra bases. In addition, Belle would have won the 1995 MVP award had it not been for his poor public and media reputation. With the Cleveland Indians, Belle became a four-time All-Star.
After his glorious eight years with the Indians, in the winter of 1996 Albert signed with the Chicago White Sox as a free agent. The native of Louisiana signed a five-year $55 million contract to make him the top-paid player at the time. Furthermore, Belle was the first player in the history of baseball to make $10 million a year.

Then Albert was effective with the White Sox for two years, including a career-high 27-game hitting series in 1997. Furthermore, the Louisiana native powered the single-season franchise record in 152 runs. In addition, Belle made his fifth appearance with the franchise in the All-Star.

His tenure with the Chicago-based franchise however came to a sad conclusion because of an uncommon clause requiring him to be one of the top three MLB players. As a result, White Sox refused to raise his salary, which in turn made Albert a free agent.

Therefore, everyone in line with the money given arranged five-time All-Star meetings in the hopes of obtaining his services. In the end, it was Baltimore Orioles who offered Albert a contract which he could not literally reject. Belle ended up with the Baltimore Orioles for 11 years.
The Orioles gave him a five-year contract of 65 million dollars (99,7 million dollars on the market today). As a result, Belle became the highest-paying MLB player for the second time in his career.

The Orioles were then left in the fielder for two reasonably reasonable seasons until a degenerative hip injury forced them to retire. Nevertheless, Albert stayed on the 40-man list for his five-year contract term due to a clause in his contract.

The five-time All-Star eventually retired as one of the greatest baseball players to ever enjoy the ballpark. Furthermore, Belle was one of the top earners of his time, making his career sweeter.
