Tenoch Huerta, who plays Namor in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, said that his character is a mutant.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is one of the MCU’s eagerly anticipated films, and it promises to be an intensely moving experience for fans.

Tenoch Huerta plays Namor, Marvel’s iconic Sub-Mariner who has been a mainstay in the comics since the late ’30s, and he will be making his dramatic introduction into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the next film. Namor is likely to cause some drama in the follow-up because of how frequently they have fought on the page.

“T’Challa and Namor’s differences as individuals and as nations practically jump off the page. He is the ideal adversary.” The director of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Ryan Coogler, teased in an interview with Empire, alluding to Namor’s comic book appearances, who is also the ruler of a highly developed civilization.

Tenoch Huerta was open about how Mesoamerican history and culture served as an inspiration for Namor in the film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. “You can either adopt from a real culture or take Atlantis from Greek myth.”

The consequences of T’Challa’s decision to unveil Wakanda to the world during Black Panther’s conclusion force Namor, the ruler of Talocan, to surface: “This choice puts Talocan in danger. Talocan must also take action to safeguard themselves.” This implies that Namor will drag MCU supporters under the water.

Marvel Comics fans will be thrilled to see one of the longest-running Marvel characters finally make it to the big screen in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever after an intriguing tease by Tenoch Huerta revealed that his Namor is a mutant in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Interestingly, as Marvel CEO Kevin Feige said, initial plans called for Namor to have been teased years earlier “After Black Panther, Ryan had a concept for a tag. Wet footprints leading to the throne would appear after the camera passed through Wakanda’s palace.”

Thanks to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, we can’t wait to see the magic that will be woven on the big screen!
